Cooperation of Project “Further Implementation of Environmental Approximation Strategy” with other current projects in the area is necessary for the overall coordination with Negotiation Group for Chapter 27, as well as for efficient accomplishment of project goals. There are several projects with which close relations have been established in the course of project activities.

The objective of the Project is to provide the Ministry of Environmental Protection with support in negotiation process with the European Union related to Chapter 27, as well as for preparation of negotiation position, capacity building and training of members of Negotiation Group for Chapter 27.

The Project will use mechanisms and results of ENVAP Project, especially in the development of the Action Plan for Administrative Capacities Development (APACD), as well as in the development of Directive Specific Implementation Plans (DSIPs), which will be shaped in accordance with the developed ENVAP approach. In addition, capacity building-related activities for the project beneficiaries will be coordinated with the support of ENVAP.

The Project is aimed at providing technical support to the Department for Project Management (DPM) in the area of infrastructural project management and implementation as a part of the process of skills and capacities development for infrastructural planning.

The Project will take into account documents planned for selected infrastructural projects in the area of water and waste management. It will be used in drafting of a list of infrastructural projects within Directive Specific Implementation Plans (DSIPs) for water and waste-related directives.

The objective of this Project is to continue the current project “Environmental Infrastructure Support Programme in the Republic of Serbia – EISP”, thus supporting the Ministry of Environmental Protection in infrastructural development in this area.

The Project will take into account the investment planning activities (principles of financing) in compliance with directives on environmental financing and EISP data collected in various infrastructural projects, so as to produce a comprehensive document on financial planning in the area of environmental protection – Multiannual Investment and Financing Plan (MIFP). In addition, in the development of Directive Specific Implementation Plans (DSIPs) for waste, documents drafted earlier will be taken into account, such as draft DSIP for Landfill and Tool for investment planning.

The task of the Project is to provide support to Serbia in preparation for the European Union accession by improving political and legislative processes. So far, PLAC has provided short-term expertise for Chapter 27.

The Project will review and analyse available results, cooperating in potential joint activities, especially in relation to institutional and legal analysis of capacities and drafting of the Action Plan for Administrative Capacities Development (APACD).

The objectives of the Project include strengthening the management and use of the EU pre-accession funds, with special focus on the development and preparation of infrastructural projects in the area of energy and environment.

The Project will establish cooperation and provide support in selecting the priority infrastructural projects based on Directive Specific Implementation Plans (DSIPs). Documents prepared within PPF6 for waste and water-related projects will be taken into account in forming a list of infrastructural projects of the Directive Specific Implementation Plans (DSIPs).

The objective is to strengthen capacities of the Republic of Serbia through preparation of programme documents in accordance with the sectoral approach of Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II), as well as identification, review and selection of potential investment projects for financing.

The Project will take into account the European Union assistance for strategic planning and coordinate it with long-term planning documents to be developed – Directive Specific Implementation Plans (DSIPs) and Multiannual Investment and Financial Plan (MIFP). The PPF7 Project documentation developed for certain infrastructure projects in the field of waste and water management will be used to draft a list of projects within the framework of specific implementation plans.

The objective of the Project is to support implementation of a unified list of priority infrastructure projects, based on the Methodology for selection and prioritisation of infrastructural projects in the area of environment, energy, transport and competitiveness.

The Project will establish cooperation and provide support for updated methodological criteria developed with the aim of preparing Directive Specific Implementation Plans (DSIPs) and the Multiannual Investment and Financial Plan (MIFP), as well as for the selection of priority infrastructural projects, based on Directive Specific Implementation Plans (DSIPs), in order to prepare them for further funding. The PPF8 Project documentation developed for selected infrastructural projects will also be taken into consideration when preparing a list of projects within the framework of Directive Specific Implementation Plans (DSIPs) for areas of waste and water management.
